PLACES IN TURKEY SHOULD VISIT -ARTVİN

Hello dear followers of our blog, we are starting a new travel adventure with you. In our next series, we will try to introduce you to places that can be visited around the world. First, we're in a city in Turkey. This small city is located in the Eastern Black Sea Region and is built on a slope. It is also a city where the Coruh River passes. Just outside the city, there is the huge Deriner Dam. Deep Dam is the world's 6th highest dam of Turkey's highest dam. It is a bull statue representing the city. After talking briefly about the city, let's go back to our main topic and get to know the places to visit in this city.

1. BORÇKA KARAGÖL 

It is approximately 27 kilometers from Borcka district. Be sure to visit this district, which appeals to the eyes with its rich forest and vegetation. It fascinates you with its clean air and rich nature. This lake, which was formed by a landslide, is between 1450-1800m Altitude. When you come to the lake after finishing the path, a few shades of green greet you. It has a very low temperature compared to the city's air temperature. We recommend that you wear something thick. Here you can set up a tent and enjoy nature. Also, a pension awaits you next to the lake, a small business where you can have a hot tea or breakfast. You can visit the surroundings of the lake and catch very beautiful views. The fog that settles in the east at night looks quite nice. Discover the most crucial view of the lake with a drone. If you visit during the autumn season, you can see borka Karagöl with 7 different colors, like a riot of colors.

2. MARAL WATERFALL

Maral Waterfall is 7-8 km away from Borcka Karagöl. The waterfall flows from a single fracture and falls from a height of approximately 63 meters. Do not forget to take your tea.

3. SIRT PLATEAU

Of course, the best part of the Black Sea is cloud seas due to its high altitude. To see this view, be sure to visit this plateau, and you will be amazed by the sunset. In this plateau, which has no facilities, you can be alone with silence and nature as it is not well known. We strongly recommend you to camp, but strong wind sounds may scare you.
